The British School of Traditional Thai Bodywork and Thai Yoga are ‘two schools’. Thai massage should not to be confused with Thai Yoga, which is a style of yoga.
The British School of Traditional Thai Massage was originally established in 1997. Later courses in Thai YOGA grew.
We are a member of THAI - Thai Healing Alliance International were the the UK Co-ordinators 2005, 2006. Students, after passing Practitioner level certification, are welcome to accredited become members of THAI, which will give them international recognition R.T.T. - Registered Thai Therapist
We are affiliated to the International Thai Massage School in Chiangmai, Thailand. Our syllabus and technique is ‘traditional’ and has not been changed or adapted.
Who learns Thai Massage?
Our students are from all backgrounds. From complete beginners to practitioners who wish to add to their existing skills. Students who practise yoga or martial arts are attracted and there are those who wish to learn so they can help family and friends, as practised all over Thailand.
We teach the practitioner the priority of safety in application and to know your own body, so enabling you to honour others.
